Thread: Desktop or Laptop?

I would go for a Laptop only because you can take your laptop at any place and much comfortable than Desktop

Years ago when lap tops were outrageous price wise I'd of said desktop in most cases, now however with prices on lap tops so cheap definitely a lap top

Same here. All you need is a monitor, keyboard and mouse and a laptop can do the same as a desktop but with dual-monitor functionality.

It depends what you want it for. If you want it for gaming then the PC is much better and cheaper than the laptop.

If I work outside I prefer having a laptop, but when I'm working online at home I prefer desktop.

A laptop for working use and another for home use.I think that's perfect.Lol.

From the 2 definbitely laptop is more prefarable as portable and is can be taken every where you go.

I'm a desktop advocate.

First of all, you get a lot more power to your pound (/bang to your buck/insert other currencies here)! Secondly, they're easier to fix if anything goes wrong. Thirdly, they're easier to upgrade.

With Laptop you can change your workplace. You can go to a park and start working on your laptop with a feel of natural atmosphere around you..

I visits websites and talk with clients via laptop, and I use desktop to design - very important for me is that my desktop has 2 monitors and when I work with photoshop I can have on one window only a designed graphics and on the other all the photoshop windows I need ( layers, brushes, actions etc. )

I also go with laptop since I frequently travel..

between desktoipn and laptop i would suggets, i think laptop is a much better option as laptops are compact are easily movable and provides aslmost silmilar features or more than the laptop.

I would go for laptop. It is convenient and handy.

If you have to travel, then of course a laptop, but if to repair then a desktop.

it depends, if I'm at home: desktop, if I'm not at home, laptop.. but if I'm at home I prefer desktop, more comfy.

I prefer a laptop as it is portable. You don't have to fix yourself to the desk.

Laptop is good for portability however Desktop is better and long lasting that Laptop

I have low system requirements for work so i use my laptop for it.

For gaming, i still prefer using my desktop which can be upgraded much easier (and cheaper). Plus, i love all my gaming peripherals, which would look absurd if i hook them all up to my laptop. Gaming-spec laptops are still ridiculously expensive.

Laptop would my choice no desktop because If you have laptop you can do work from any place and much comfortable..

Laptops are comfortable for me as they are portable.

i go for laptop. they usually have the same capabilities with the desktop and they're prices are also almost the same. save space. save the earth. save electricity.

as for my life opportunities having a desktop for me is uncomfortable, but when i live in a big house i will buy a desk top with big screen))))

For me, It really depends. I'm comfortable using desktop in working at home. And laptop is only convenient if you're going somewhere since you can have it anytime.

I prefer using laptop now since it is more handy at the same time it is easier to carry wherever I go ...Or when I travel I can always get a free Wi Fi

I am using laptop present buy i am thinking to buy desktop as is is not comfortable to work in laptop , you can't work more than hour using laptop on bed or ur lap , i am using laptop on table ..

To really work at home a desktop is better and cheaper. A laptop is only good, if you are working a lot outside your home or have a lot travelling to do.

desktop, i was half and half depending on what i was doing and where i was, but desktop most of time due to broken laptop.

Power shortages conditions in my country are really BAD so I have only one choice that is laptop because it has a battery inside it and stays on even without external power. I don't think many people now a days use destop computers.

Desktop for Hard Task Job & Laptops for Light Purpose Portable Use
