Thread: Amplifier or a new phone?

I have a problem and I need your help: after moving to a new house we have started experiencing big problems with mobile signal. It is very weal in our area due to the far distance from the transmitting tower. Some people recommend buying an amplifier for mobile signal, others claim that it won't solve the problem. They suggest buying a new phone. What do you think?

Or you could look for a new carrier in the area. I used to have Verizon Wireless and I had no signal. I switched to AT&T, got the iPhones, and I've got 5 bars. I don't regret the switch at all.
