Control Panel for my Server

Hey guys I need a free control panel for my server. I dont like using webmin. Would like to use something more advanced where it does the work for me.

All I need it to do is be able to add domains I want and it sets everything up in apache and DNS.

Maybe in the future I might need to create accounts because I will be giving out free ones.

If anyone has some experience with one that would fit my needs. Let me know.

There is VHCS vhcs.net/new that I know of. There are a few others around but I can't remember the names.

I don't think there is a better free control panel then webmin

Directadmin it's an affordable control panel that will make everything you want.

i would get a server with cpanel or plesk and the money - most server companies can add that in for a reasonable cost

LxAdmin is free for one user, give that a go.

LXADMIN is cheaper and better

Also you can try few free control panels such as web-cp, xpanel.com, zpanel, VHCS etc....
I will suggest you to go with paid control panel such as LXADMIN which is cheap and better.

I use cpanel and liking it.
But lxadmin is also good if you are looking for a cheap solution.

Yeah I agree.

It all depends of who your host is. I use LiquidWeb almost exclusively now, they include CPanel free with their servers.

Check out ServerCP for anther free option. They also have a $10 flavor that adds a bit of support and updates i think. zervex.com

A cheaper very robust CP is InterWorx. We use that a lot for our clients.

I think we are talking about free control panel not of hosting company providing them free.

Most hosting providers offers free control panel as the part of their service then what's so special about your host

ServerCP is really nice even if has a bug with the nameservers

What is wrong with Webmin + virtualmin - it does it all as well. Takes a bit to setup
yum install webmin
Go in and load the virtualmin module
done

(well there is a few more steps, but it is easy)

C-Panel is THE best. Trust me, if you dont want your clients bothering u evrytym with all those tech options, u shud use C-Panel. Everything is well sorted out and even a newbie could learn it easily
