have you changed the .htaccess by chance recently?
it could be a server side error, have you contacted your host yet?
Hello, I am Brandon & I've been offering Web Services since 2006
We're building the largest, friendly General Forum on the net.
Are you running a successful forum? If so, I'd love to blog about it.

Yes I have and they have no idea what to do( The only work thats been done onsite is banning a few members then deleting them, also I put in a google link so that they could do up a sitemap for us. Thats it.

Maybe possible ...... upload the index.php from recent backup again to root

I have no idea how to do that as I keep out of there as much as possible. Anyone here work cheaply?? Thanks to the USD and the messup there our aussie $ sucks big time. Pm me??

Put an index up??????
The index source shows nothing.

I dont think thats the problem hurley.
Has the server updated php versions today or any other software versions recently.
Is the site using cPanel hosting? If so go to cPanel -> Error Logs and see if that contains anything.
If you have a blank index.html file and an index.php file. Rename the index.html file and then press CTRL+F5 to see if the server is now reading index.html rather than index.php first.
There are tons of causes to this, you maybe hitting the php_memory limit, the host could have screwed up.
Either way, if I was at a hosting company, that didnt know how to trouble shoot a white page, I'd find a new host.
SEOVB had a hissy fit like a little bitch for not being able to follow the rules!

It seems the problem maybe in the arcade
File does not exist: /home/myname/public_html/file/arcade/images/9496.html
File does not exist: /home/meagians/public_html/file/arcade/images/3092.html
So should I delete the arcade?

Rhiannon. Ill take a look if you want![]()

Have taken a look at this for Rhiannon and it looks like there is maybe a database issue. There are no database's for any of her 3 sites. Awaiting her host to explain whats going on. Damn hosting companies. :rolleyes-h::angry-h: (yeah Halloween smilies)

Thank you so much to seovb and CompuSupport, thank you both for looking at my site, you have no idea how much it was appreciated - THANK YOU!!!
They are ALL back up and running whooooooohoooooooo!!

Just took another quick look at your site and it was the database that was causing the problem. Seems your database is now showing in cPanel so the host must have uploaded it back again.
My advice, Change hosts. You should not have to put up with missing databases that are not due to your own mistakes. Databases should not just vanish like that. :3079:

looks like a db issue

Rhiannon. I have just got my Reseller account all setup today, if you want We can move your sites here until you find a solution if you want.
I'm just amazed and a little upset that your hosting company doesn't have the proper tech support, that is just ridiculous!
I can see your site perfectly fine, I even surfed around to catch any errors...none. So I take it that you got everything fixed which is always good.

DOS is a scary thing for all of the hosting companies for sure. That is also why they made it to where you can do backups which I tell our clients to do at least daily, download them for safe keeping in case the server goes crazy for whatever reason.

We did and we always do it weekly but we could not get into our cpanel or ftp, no access at all, so site down and not able to do anything at all.
Wow, that is so scary. I'm so sorry that happened. I hope the host you have now is much better though.
I'm amazed and a little upset at Rhiannon's pottymouth. Swearing like a trooper, must be from hanging around all those soldier types at International Military Networking Site
:tongue-h:
I just wanted to clarify something real quick about this whole mess-up. First, I can not blame Rhia for being like that, keep in mind though, I had the worst of it.
I am the one hosting all of Rhia's sites, as well as being a partner on a couple of them. We were originally hosted on Hostlayer.com. Just a couple of days before this mess started up, Hostlayer was bought up by Readywire.com Not more than 24 hours after the buyout, our problems started. During the entire fiasco, I was on the phone DAILY with Readywire. The morons over there could not give me any type of answer what so ever as to what was going on.
I went and switched hosting to Dynohost. I explained to them what the situation was and they immediatedly initiated a full transfer of all of my hosted sites. Thanks to Dynohost, we are back up and running 100%
After the move, I contacted my lawyers and put Hostlayer / Readywire on the hitlist for a legal battle from hell for breach of contract. After a week of negotiations, I was able to get every dime I paid to them for their ignorance. It seems that their excuse was a DDos attack on their servers.
It's kind of odd that such a "reputable" company has such a massive flaw in their security.
Beware to all who are hosted on Hostlayer / Readywire, get out while you still can. Looks like the problems are only going to get worse with them
Im glad you're enjoying our service TREKKIE. We had a few challenges moving the sites away from the old host, but it all worked out in the end.

A few of the members from here told us to try you as some have used you for years and had no problems :3081:
Rhiannon added 2 Minutes and 22 Seconds later...
Yep :3083: Get me going and I could make hardened soldiers blush and yeah its one of those things ya gotta love about me LOL
