Thread: how to?

Just got a cheap unmanaged Vps with lxadmin

Anyone guide me on how to how to set up root domain, nameservers?

I personally have never used or had to use this control panel. But with the help of google, I found some tutorials that may help you if nothing else.

It's been a while since I used lxadmin so can't remember exactly. But one thing I can tell you, once you get to grips with it, its actually very good and quite simple too. I used it sometime back and quite liked it.

I found lxadmin very buggy and unstable myself.

I got this just to get used to vps/dedi stuff like ssh and all.

You are very welcome. I think I'm spoiled because I've only used Cpanel and ever since I haven't used anything else. (Even though I probably should at least learn).

As far as shell...Looks easy when I see my fiance use it and our partner in hosting, at least they make it look easy. I feel like I would end up breaking something.:sblush:

same here i've only used to Cpanel and still learning all the nooks and screws to it. I will try lxadmin hopefully within this year. will update how it goes for me.

me too sitll dun knw much bout cpanel bt will surely let u knw once i find anything useful
