Kmemsize Memory Limit

It looks like you've been hitting your kmemsize memory limit (kernel memory) I have increased this.
Let's see if it continues.

Response I got from one of my VPS hosts, second time I've been told of this issue when I found problems. I'm not even running much on this host compared to what my account allows me to.

Anyone know of anyway to optimize this in a VPS setting, or possibly items to remove from cpanel, etc to reduce the load?

Turns out I was NOT hitting the limit.

Host continued to read off me hitting it one time back on OCT 19TH, failing to read when it happened they read the same 'error' over and over as it continued to happen!

Jesus I am trying not to loose my cool with them, but that's pretty sad on any level. I had to call them on it as it shows in my power panel when limits are hit, and it clearly shows the 19th was the last time I hit the kmem limit. That was because of my old mailing list, I upgraded to a new list and never hit the kmemsize limit again, although they of course tried to blame it on that.

I think that's exactly it. Now I had one tech say they can't confirm if I was told a lie about the kmemsize because once the account was migrated that info is lost. In the very ticket that the manager tech states that yes basically I was lied to!?!?!?!?

Wow is all I have to say. I'm sure they think I'm a prick, but wow you can only take so much.

You have no idea how many times I've been called a prick by imcompetent host techs. Hell, owners for that matter.

Exactly. I have had some of them refund pro-rated amounts of fees. But that don't help in the SERP and is usually less they any lost revenue.

Yep that's what I'm worried about loss in the serps. I lost more money than hosting for a year would cost with them!

But I can't even get them to admit to their fuck ups, or really even an appology, excuses are all I have gotten and not a single offer of prorating or refund!
