Definitely key. Shared hosting is so wishy washy. I have so much better uptime with dedicated servers than I ever had with shared/reseller.

oh yea , you lose so much traffic on shared when you have a high traffic site. Always good to go dedi. I can't even remember when i started using shared lol seems so long ago.

A dedicated Server is a Server that you rent on a monthly or a yearley base that is for your use only.

A dedicated server is a single computer in a network reserved for serving the needs of the network. For example, some networks require that one computer be set aside to manage communications between all the other computers. A dedicated server could also be a computer that manages printer resources. Note, however, that not all servers are dedicated. In some networks, it is possible for a computer to act as a server and perform other functions as well.

You can create multiple hosting accounts on a dedicated server

Different hosting accounts for your different sites, up-time & response time would be great as well

I would suggest not to go dedicated unless you have a solid reason or else you will be paying a handful of bucks on a monthly basis

I agree, for websites with high volume, or those pushing a lot of bandwidth through images or streaming media, a dedicated server is the best solution.

The whole server is onlty needed when no other account type can handle the site. May advise you always trying to find the smallest possible package, unless you are millionare who doesn't care of the price.
