Question cPanel never updates FPE and mod_ssl?

So, I have my dedicated server with Apache WHM running on it. When I do manual updates every week, it never updates mod_ssl and FrontPage Extensions, which results in it getting 2 "unlocked" images on the main screen. I see in my up2date configuration that they are both on the exclude list.

My question is, why are they and how should I manually update them? (If I should update them..)

    Thanks!

Did you try looking over at the cpanel support forum? It may have been covered there, but you need an account to login and view threads.

I do have an account there. But I was browsing v7n today, and then got referred to here today as well, so I thought I would come here and ask to see if anyone knew first

    login to ssh and run

    /scripts/upcp

if not id ask your dedicated server provide/dc or the cpanel support forums

Well, that automatically runs daily, so that wouldn't matter.

I also updated apache with EasyApache 3 yesterday, still same version.

I was browsing around modssl.org and saw that they only release updates for Apache 1.x? I'm currently running Apache 2.2. Could this be why it doesn't update?
