On the rise lately. Anyone else with VPS, Dedi's getting this as well?

One of my servers is constantly blocking IP's from port scans, it's getting out of hand!

You can install PSAD - Portscan detection. - Blocks IP's via APF or iptables.

You don't need to be worried about port scans if your firewall is setup correctly, its the web application attacks you need to worry about. Mod_security rules ( a good set ) will save you

My firewall is auto blocking them as it is, it's just nuts how many are happening as of late.

it may be targeted, is it a group of IP's?

I get a lot of attacks on my box's, however im scanning a bit.
