Hi,

The main difference between “VPS hosting” and “Dedicated hosting” is that you are the only person with files on the server in Dedicated.
But the VPS has virtual environment, where everyone has root access inside a virtual machine. There are several people with these VMs on one given physical server. It will not be difficult to manage these dedicated servers, if you have easily managed your sites in VPS hosting server.

Though the VPS has virtual environment, where everyone has root access, but all the vps formed on one single node are isolated which allows only sharing of hardware. Each and every Virtual private server acts exactly like a stand-alone server and can easily be rebooted independently. If you need more control and optimum performance than shared web hosting or a low-cost upgrade path to a dedicated server, then a VPS Hosting plans is the way to go.

VPS is virtualization of the servers which makes it so cost effective while delivering performance. Dedicated servers are physical servers that cost a lot of maintain which is why they will run up the bill. Because they are dedicated, they do provide better speeds in some cases but the cost to performance ratio isn't negligible in my opinion.

In a virtual private server, you will have a virtual machine to host your website. Although it will be running on a software, but it is as powerful as a virtual standalone machine.

Dedicated server is specifically reserved for single website or a user, all the resources of dedicated server are used for single website. Whereas VPS is a virtual private server which works on the basis of virtual technology.
