Default cPanel backup all at once

    Hey Guys,

Is there an easy way to backup all accounts in WHM and download it all in one tar.gz package?

So far what I've been doing is logging into WHM then clicking on individual accounts and using the backups link, then logging in via ssh to download each individual backup.

It's time consuming and annoying. :P Is there anyway to backup all accounts at once? Even if I had to download each individually, I don't care, I just hate having to poke around 15 different cPanel's to wait for backups.

I was thinking of creating a bash scriped something like:

    Code:
    /bash
    tar -zvf /home /root/backup$servertime.tar.gz
That would get everything but wouldn't be a compliant cpmove file.. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Dan

I thought a WHM backup did that and also include the databases and email info?

I thought so too, but when I look at the setting in WHM. It always wants a remote server to send the backup to. I don't have a remote server to send the backup to.

I go into my whm and from there to the cpanel, which has all the sites on it.
Then I just tab each one and get the backups.

DB you can make the backup on your local server via WHM, or you can also setup a remote ftp server on your home network. I used to have my servers setup this way, it would auto transfer the files to my home network in the middle of the night.
