    Default Skinning PHPLD

    Hey All,

I'm working on a few projects which involves alot of skinning jobs. Now since I'm young and willing to learn I am trying to do all this by myself. I have learned wordpress and joomla(smallpart) and now I'm looking to skin phpld. I checked the official site and the (few, almost nothing) pages about skinning phpld, even tried to give it a go, but all i got were errors haha.

So is there anyone on this board who knows how to skin them? If so, happen to have a bit of time to help me out with idea's,tips etc?

    Thanks ahead!

:sgrin: < I love this one

What are you editing the tpl files in?

Opening them in some editors can distort the code, then you upload them and they don't work, only edit them in notepad, unless you have something that supports editing tpl files.

I skin phpld, not often, but a few times.

You don't need to know a thing about smarty to edit these templates. I don't know anything and still manage to create the themes.

I agree! You only need to edit the template files, just download some free templates created by others and look into them, you'll get it then.
