i have heared from many people that links from directories not works anymore?? is it right????

They don't have near the power they once had and many directories and worthless.

Google SandBox destroy them.

they can help you to get some traffic and they also help you t get bcaklinks..

directory submission is ok for getting little traffic
and backlink.

Its very hard to getting backlink from directory.
it is better than have a none so i am regularly doing directory submission for my site.

Getting a one way link is getting a one way link. I have discussed the topic with many in my field and have found the ones with 200k backlinks spent plenty of time getting links from free directories. The best of course are high authority relevant backlinks, but when you are trying to get links general also help. Just my thoughts of course.

Yes it will still work but they cant do much in terms of SERP rankings. They can do somehow in traffic and it is still counts as backlink.

Every link works if placed at the right place and directories are good source of backlinks too.

It's not that they don't work, it's just that for every 1000 submissions you make, only 10 will be of any worth. Most delete your links, close the site or are set up as email scrapers.

Directory links are considered spam by prominent search engines. Researching the suspected directories thoroughly would work.

I click your signature but there's no best category for my signature. I didn't find the legal/laws or immigration category.

Anyway, I like your directory, very neat and it is not crowded with adsense.

directory links are work but it take about 3 to 4 month to make help u.

I do still see some authoritative directory links still works.. eg.. onemission, mastermoz so on.. but most i think they are junks..

old and long existing high pr directories work and they are still helpful to make backlinks and more from the new ones are just scam

I do not think that I have ever seen a web site that is poorly set up it is nothing but what seems like adds I would not suggest any one going to this site at all jmo.

Definitely works and effective, as long as you filter bad, not indexed directories. Otherwise it can backfire if you are linking from google slapped directory.

not as much as they were worth a while ago. nowadays is nice to have them but don't focus that much on them
