What to do about directories sold and...

I have sold quite a few directories in the past year.
I help out the new owner by telling them how to change various items, especially the paypal address to their own.
Yet, I today got two payments and I don't know what directory they bought them from.
Not from one of mine.

Usually I just refund and move on.
I did send emails to these two people as to what directory they paid.
Hopefully they will answer.

Does anyone else who sold a directory have this problem?
I just went to two directories I sold and found out they are still in my name.

Before releasing the directory to the new owner, I put their info in, to prevent this from happening.

It sort of makes you feel guilty, doesn't it?
Hopefully, they will get it solved and start getting their money.
I guess if you still have admin access you could always go in and to a "white hat" hack.

Went through the directories I sold last night.
Only changed two and notified the owners to fix it asap.
Can't believe that 2 owners never changed a thing, login to admin, or anything else.

Ha....I sold a nice site about adsense last year.
And until I got banned from adsense, that site made me bucks every single day as the owner never changed a thing!
