I think google is the better option for you. You should go for it.

Lol, you are kidding. I visited the site and check if it has a thousand directories like what yo claimed but found only the site itself and the forum.

I would not recommend submitting to hundreds of directories....it`s just a lost of time, because Google puts value only on the best ones...

You never can have too much backlinks from these directories as long as they are seo friendly and have a nice PR.

You cant find the list of 1000 at a place but try directory critic and search for some more in google.

well directory critic is the nice one. i have tried it since from the first day as a seo professional. But there exist a problem like many sites which are enlisted as free directory site are basically paid one or needs reciprocal links. So you need to work on that, that is you need to sort out those directories which offer free listing and that can be done only by trying it.

One suggested just to have it listed in dmoz. But I suggested a site to them a few months back, and am still waiting to be listed there: I heard it can take some time to get a listing there. However, is it really vital to have the site in as many directories as poss? I wanted to combine that along with some link building.

Directory submission should be part of your SEO strategy but do not rely on it solely to help your site's reputation online.

Also if you are going to submit to directories, only select a few per day to submit to.

Do NOT SUBMIT TO 1000's of directories all on the same day, this will be considered spam or "backlink inflammation":Icky:

Google see this an attempt by the site's owner to manipulate Google's search result, and google really does not like this. Could lead to your site being banned.:sad-f:

You can always find on by searching on Google for "directory list" but I think it's better to look at those that are listed on Directory Critic (as recommended by Probafix). Build your own list so that you can use it again if you created new website.. ;-)
