Thread: I love Jayde

I ordered some free directory submissions about a month ago and today I was approved to www.jayde.com.

They've given me my own page and a total of 9 internal links. Granted they're for pages that if I wasn't so lazy would have nofollow's on them, but I'm just impressed that they went to all that effort for something that didn't earn them anything.

Oh, they make money on every page they show.
Look at all the ads on your page.
Those ads did not come that cheap and they keep Jayde in the money.

yea also tried it out with http://www.jayde.com/13004872-global-weblinks.html

But its not really worth anything. The page is not indexed by SE and it gives no clicks

Jayde is just another useless directory.

I've been submitted a few years - I've not had one referral from the directory.

I got a bit of traffic, but its probably because I posted the page here

If the quality of your submitted site is good, it will get included, just have a little patience please People ought to respect the extensive checks made on the submissions recieved.

It has been approved. This is exactly the kind of sites that always would be welcome to my directories

Don't worry, I know good directories are swarmed with tons of submissions, I expect to wait!

Jayde is very good free directory. I am also submitting my site in it and it gives me 3-4 internal link with main link....

I have my sites there as well, and they have some interesting mailouts.

Its never going to be a monster traffic generator but as free directories go it is probably as good as any.

Its just your thoughts that they are not making any money with that, IF they start all this for free, they will soon be bankruptcy...

Jade Is Old And Outdated, but still good with google.

Jayde has been around for a long time. If I recall, they existed long before I started thinking about making phpLD.

jayde is useful directory. i have submitted some sites also here.

Jayde is one of the worst directories out there for spamming. When I firststarted out about 4 years ago I submitted my sites to Jayde. If you give them your email address then be prepared for more spam. It doesnt matter if you click the unsubscribe link or mot they still continue to email you, plus they give your email info out to third parties.

Sorry, but I agree with those who have said that Jayde is worthless.

Same experience here!

Jadye is good. The directory shows in the organic results for some long tails.

However as noted you will be spammed.
