Thread: How to judge good directories to submit link?

I do a lot of submission in directories but then hardly find any good result. Is there any tips to find good directories that would get me some good results?

A lot of directories won't send you much traffic. Many people just submit to them because many are free and they get a backlink from them. People will sometimes look for directories with higher google pagerank and sometimes higher traffic rank. There are a few directories that send some traffic out there.

There are not such tips, but you may ask some one just to share with you some reliable directories and it may work.

Directories submission is no longer as good as before but still help a bit especially if the directories has a high PR.

As per the article written on the Google's official blog, Good web directories are those which are well organized and well structured. Google respects only those directories which adds some value to the Internet. For example: Dmoz Directory.

Directories dont help to much in sending traffic to your site. Directories with high pageranks can help (not much though) in getting your PR up.

Nowadays you cant rely on directories to much to help in rankings because like others have said, they aren't worth as much anymore. You have to mix up your link profile with other sources.

Their is no criteria of good and bad directories nowadays. Just submit them to get links.

very easy to directory judgment. check directory traffic (alexa rank) and check PR (page rank) analysis backlinks.

Interesting, I'm going to check out this directory right now to see if I can submit anything to it.
