Thread: phpLD: Modifying reciprocal link

As I had posted a couple of days back on the phpld forum...

Hi,

I'd like to know how this can be done...

So that submitters will have to link to a url OTHER than that of the directory. And to validate that they indeed link.

For example, supposing I run xyzdirectory.com (example) and someone submits a reciprocal link, instead of having them link to xyzdirectory.com I would like them to link to anotherurl.com. And to validate that they do link.

So 2 things need to be modified as far as I can see.

1. The HTML inside the text area in the submit page, right under where it says
2. And phpLD needs to be modified so that it validates that the submitter is linking to anotherurl.com instead of xyzdirectory.com

Please advise

I don't understand 1.

For two, a quick line of code could do the validation. that is assuming we can use an existing error function on fail. If not, we'd need the sanity code to throw an error if they link to the directory instead of another site.


Since I have never seen phpld code, I can't tell ya where to insert it though.
