Yahoo! Delisting Sites with Affiliate Links?

After careful consideration and research in Yahoo! because of poor index listings, I finally contacted them to see what's up.

I did the review as they suggested and it appears I'm delisted for using CJ.com links and not having enough content.

Can you guys have a look at the site and let me know if this is like they say?

As far as I can see, you have a few affiliate links there, but so what?

The content is certainly there.

I've seen much much worse.

I wrote YPN to see what they thought. They say the site is fine and in compliance.

So how can I be approved to have a relationship with YPN! partners and represent overture/YPN yet not be in compliance for the Yahoo! index?

There surely is a situation of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing here.

You do have a lot of ads, but the amount of content justifies it. They are obviously tired of the sites listed in their own results, which I can understand. Too many link farms, ad farms, low quality sites pop up. Yours is obviously a very popular site amongst bikers, but Yahoo! employees probably just execute the order to get rid of ¨ad sites¨ and they don´t know how differenciate between sites with garbage content created for ads and sites using ads to make money off of something that took some time to build and has value to web searchers.

I believe you will be relisted once you get the right person from Yahoo! to take a look at it!

Thanks to both of you for taking a look.

I intend to follow up with the index people and make them aware of the obvious contradicitons between the two departments.

I would think my reputation would need to be unquesitionable to show ads for YPN. So how I would not be viewed acceptable by the index department is surely a mystery.

Maybe with some votes they will read it. Not that I expect it to help. I just want to see if the process is even working a little.
