    Default Directory, powered by Wordpress?

Someone asked me to do this, design a directory, which uses Wordpress as it's backend.

Is this plausible? I'd think it's a lot of work as you'd have to work in a payment system, etc.

She said it's cause Wordpress is so seo-friendly, she'd like it to power her directory.

    Ideas? Thoughts?

    Colleen,
there are already mods that allow phpLD to be "wrapped" by WordPress. I forget where the mod is at. I believe I saw it posted on phplinkdirectory website.

    I wouldn't try re-creating the wheel here.

Was going to recommend the same thing, only thing with this plugin for wp its a pain in the arse to style up to a custom theme, not sure about the payment system for it though might be something to request from the creator

Yeah I installed that on one of my blogs, only thing is it doesn't have a payment system as you stated.
