Default help me in getting rid of this phpld

I have bought the domain and hosting for a web directory. My website is www.linksbucket.com

Few weeks ago I asked one of my friend on internet to install the phpld directory script so that I can have a web directory just like others. He installed the script but it had some errors, and when I asked him to please correct the errors he just ran away and never got back to me.

Now I am going to make my website directory completely on html and now I want to remove those phpld files which are on my server but I don't know which files he installed.

Can anyone please tell me what are the files that I should delete?

Or I should ask the hosting provider to help me?

Reward: The one who will help me a lot in this thing, he/she will get a homepage link on this linksbucket directory

Simplest method I would think is to download the zip file for phpld, open it and this way you can see exactly the file structure of the program

You can also check by what date it was uploaded.

If this is cpanel 'or similiar' and the only thing on this domain you can always simply terminate the domain and recreate it, simplest method to make sure everything is gone and good as new

Jani ... before you make a manual directory, why don't you take a look at PHPLYNX Directory Script ? They offer FREE support and installation and have a great phplynx directory support forum.

I'm sure they can help you get everything straightened out!

Thanks for the suggestion LaCabra, But I have made my directory in a way that it is looking very beautiful and has very user-friendly interface

I have added some interesting ideas on the directory and am very confident that people will just die to pay me for that

By the way how is the domain? www.linksbucket.com sounds good?

Jani ... you can integrate just about any type of layout with phplynx, it is also packed with many features, That being said I respect your decision on staying with your own design and functionality. Good luck with it. The name sounds good.

    cheers

Sorry to see you never got the help you wanted Jani, I rembered times like that myself. I also remember the time I used html only to generate my directory, it was great fun until I got lots of pages then it wasn't so easy to control.

Its why I made the phpLynx script and while I'm not going to go overboard on trying to get you to at least have a look at it I would ask you to keep in mind that if you've got some good ideas for your directory then I'm always open to these with our script.

Go with what you feel you need to, I did, and I don't regret it for a second, my biggest mistake was learning the hard way.

Kevin, are you the owner of that phplynx script?

I think I should show you the main page of my directory which I have coded. You can see it and tell me that this phplynx script can help me with that or not.

I will PM you the link in a few minutes.

Ok Kevin, after discussion with one of my friend and thinking about my directory I have decided to go with phplynx directory script with the hope that you will guide me and not leave me in the middle.

Please tell me the process. What should I do to get started?

I visited the phplynx site but didn't find the "Templates" for directory. I want to know how my directory will look like?

The linksbucket page I showed you in the PM, can I get it with your script?

I hope my website will be UP and running soon

There's plenty of support on the phpLynx forum jani, and there are also links to templates there, I do believe Colleen from this forum makes some excellent designs but if you wanted to keep your own design I don't think that would be hard to do.

I don't too much about design myself, I leave it to the masters, my job is to make sure the script runs without problems and Gary and his team over at the forum give excellent support.

Look forward to seeing your success.
