Default [Help] I want to use 2 domains for 1 website - How can I do this?

I have bought two domain names for my new website

    1. DecentBanners.com

    2. DecentBanner.com

My site is currently running with the domain DecentBanners.com but I want to use DecentBanner.com also for the same website.

Means when someone type DecentBanner.com then my site DecentBanners.com should open.

    How can I do this?

I am trying to use the NameServers on Namecheap (where my domains are) but it is giving error (try later)

Do you know how can I use two domains for 1 website?

Actually I don't want to disturb my hosting provider again and again... I already send him too many emails and ask for help

Usually you can either do this easily at your registar by forwarding 1 domain to the other, or in your control panel.

I will try again on Namecheap... plus will look into my cPanel.. may be there is something which I can do

Cpanel makes it easy to point a domain. There are a few ways, the way I prefer is to create the domain in your account if using whm.

Then simply redirect using the redirect feature in cpanel to the other domain you prefer. This way you still have control over that domain and can add .htaccess rules for forwarding old files should you have them.

Within cPanel you can "park" decentbanner.com on top of your main account. Of course you have to get those nameservers updated and pointing to the same server your main account uses.

Park is an easy way, I just like the other way for full control.

    Call me odd

    Click on the link:
    Transfer DNS Back to Us
and then you should be able to click on the URL forwarding link under the heading Host Management.

i don't know about the namecheap method, but i know how you can do it via cpanel:
    • instead of parking, which creates two separate domains decentbanner.com and decentbanners.com, make decentbanner.com an add-on domain in cpanel
    • in namecheap, change the dns for decentbanner.com to ns1-arbi... & ns2-arbi...
    • going back to cpanel, in the redirection page, set decentbanner.com to redirect to decentbanners.com (permanent)

    Hey, I finally did it

It was right there, in the namecheap control panel but I didn't see that. One of my friend told me about it.

Now if you type Object moved you will be redirected to DecentBanners :: Professional Banner Design Services By DecentBanners.com automatically

But there is only one thing.. when I enter Object moved it is redirecting to decentbanners.com but the URL is appearing like this DecentBanners :: Professional Banner Design Services By DecentBanners.com <--- You see there is a (.) dot appearing in the end of the URL... anybody knows why the dot is appearing there?
