To bid on a domain, do you really have to subscribe to the Domain Name Aftermarket for $4.99 a year? It's not free like the namecheap marketplace?
Just want to be sure before I go pay to bid on something. Geesh.

Yeah, I think with GoDaddy you have to subscribe to that domain name aftermarket to be able to bid and sell domain names.

It was bad enough I'd have to pay a domain reg fee and icann fee on top of my bid, oh well, hope it's worth it, lol. Thanks!

$4.99 is not that much for 1 year period of time.
I have never used GoDaddy to sell or buy domain names.
But they got a pretty good interface about the domain auctions.

I could try to buy it for you K if you want to just pay the fees to me.. oh wait isn't there a transfer fee to or no? Scott deals with this BS but I know we use DNA. Just a thought

And how's the experience with the bidding on domain names on GoDaddy after you have purchased the membership, is it worth it ?

By saying that I mean if the bidding process on GoDaddy is better than on other sites such as NameCheap after you have purchased the membership.

It's no better.

Anyway, I got my question answered here, case closed. I wasn't looking to discuss my feelings on the topic.![]()
