Whats your favourite domain registrar ?
Whats your favourite domain registrar ?

Anyone but GoDaddy.
They suck for various reasons.

I like namecheap. I have stuck with them for years now and can't complain about the service at all.
Yes, my vote also goes to namecheap.

I like Godaddy.
I also use godaddy for both registration and hosting and haven't had any problems yet (knock on wood). I keep hearing horrible things about them and it's made me start looking for other providers out of sheer paranoia lol.

I dont have a favorite lol

Namecheap

Can I start a new thread on this subject?
Namecheap and only namecheap.
And yes, it must be the traffic they are receiving that slows them down at times.
Use MAYFLOWERS when registering a new domain at namecheap.

Maybe I should look into Namecheap... maybe better than Godaddy :O
I use Namcheap primarily, but I decided to try GoDaddy out and buy a domain and I hated the process.

Its not that bad of a process
We have an eNom reseller account, and have been happy with their service for a number of years.

Always wondered about 1and1.
They spend a fortune in magazines advertising.
Yet it seems every forum I go to, blogs about hosting companies, and so forth...never have anything good to say about them.
Yeah I chose them when I first started web-designing because I saw them in a magazine, and figured they had to be good.
They're not bad for a host, they've erased my account once, and I've had standard uptime,
But their method of 'stealing money' is ridiculous.
Locking domains, etc
They mailed all my domain names registered with them to the offical Name Registry of canada. So every year, 2 months before my domain expires, they send me a letter for each domain telling me to register with the Name Registery of Canada for $40+ a year.
:\
Ridiculous.

I only use namecheap

Dynadot.com
Cleanest interface I have seen prettier than namecheap also!

how are the prices though?

Pricing is similar to namecheap! 8.99$ for .com , 5.99 for org ...
My favorite domain registrar is Namecheap.com![]()
If cost is not taken into consideration, then I would say that the interfaces of Netsol, eNom and Register are the cleanest around. I never liked Namecheap's or Godaddy's interfaces. Another registrar that I use is resellerclub, their interface appears complicated at first but it grows on you.
I personally like using moniker.com, for business purposes i would use name.com..
Did someone mention GoDaddy?.. Iv never had any serious problems with them, it's just their domain prices never stop changing + too expensive
Namecheap is my favourite, and the only reason I am stuck with a GoDaddy account as well is because many domainers seem to favour GD for some strange reason that I have been unable to fathom....
I register my domain name here XnYnZ.com : Search, Register and Transfer Web Domain Names and More and also i got the hosting, domain name register, domain appraisal, online file folder, ssl certificate etc...
my favorites are godaddy and name.
I was buy 140 domains from aplus, but now a booking from rediff , it is to fast, rather then aplus

I am currently using my current host myhosting.com as my domain registrar. It is just easier on billing to have everything billed in one place. Makes it simple and cleaner as well.
GoDaddy used to be good but now they are simply overpriced. They are charging well over $8 a domain which isn't economical when you have 60+ domains. I am currently paying under $7 for my domains PER year which saves me some good money.
godaddy.com is a good choice to host domain.
We have a reseller account with resell.biz but have also used Namecheap a lot.

I Love Godaddy, Now and forever

I love my current host as my domain registrar because when I signed up for a shared hosting plan they gave the domain for free. A free domain is always welcomed in my opinion.
this is unconventional, but go daddy, with all it flaws, has the best user interface
and it is relatively easy to get a hold of the customer support
The following are the best domain name registrar that you may consider:
1. Godaddy
2. Netfirms
3. 1and1.co.uk
4. Namecheap
5. Register.com
They are one of the favorite domain registrars thus they rank as the 5 best. You may check of them for you to see if it meets your expectations![]()
I will also go with namecheap. Actually never tried any other.
