Well I decided I would give it a go. I have signed up for one and now just need to wait to see if I end up getting it. I had a problem setting up a server with ovh before because I had my credit card registered to a different address so I will need to see if they need extra confrimation off me.

I took the opertunity to try out some proxy hosting the dawg recommended. The DNS is currently updating though so it may still be pointing to my server.

so this is only for eu citizens? can I lie if I'm american? can I get someone to register for me? what about using someone's address?

Its free, no hidden fees. Although you have to pay to renew.

guh...I just thought about this. now I've got this idea for a website....I have to bother getting hosting...and making content...and advertising....I just signed myself up for more work.

Get on Hostgator....$10/mo, unlimited addon domains, space, bandwidth..etc

i've got hostgator, but I don't see where to put in my nameservers on the eu site
