What do you believe the future and worth are of .CO.IN domains?

hmm... the domains are getting really popular now. Maybe it will workout great for Indian Companies...

As it is only for the companies, it don't have much value compared to .com or .net

I'm not comparing them to dot coms...I'm asking about their worth and value as a dot co dot in

.co.in is used largely for official/corporate sites. For instance, Yahoo, MSN and Google use .co.in as opposed to .in
MSN didn't even bother to register the .in: http://whois.sc/msn.in

future looks bright due to huge population of indian are using internet now.i DO have .in domain few of them.

Not wanting to take this totally off topic, but they do own the name, and did even earlier... they just forgot to renew

Its good to see few .IN domains gaining entry in Moniker's auction in Paris this year

Like i said....its gunna be one of the next big tld.....tons of ppl in india are in the communitys

.in domain will be more popular in future.... u can go with co.in also........

Just noticed I made this old thread.....

It seems the 'hype' of 3L dot in and dot co dot in pretty much died, people selling @ reg fee, not much hype anymore...

They'll never be a huge demand or rush to get domains that are ending with specific country TLD's.

Business that are outside of India or don't have some presence in India probably won't register them or pay big bucks to as they really have no point to.

Unless like sex.co.in, etc

But yah, see your point.
