Thread: .ws can't be transferred?

Does godaddy have a monopoly on .ws domains? I though I would be able to transfer my only .ws domain before it was due to be renewed, but there is no option to send the authorisation code with that one. mg:

You can transfer them to any directi resellers or dynadot.

You can't transfer .ws, as of now, at any registrar.
From wikipedia:
"One limitation of .ws is that existing domains registered in this TLD are not portable; they cannot be moved from one registrar to another."

But I read somwehere that they're working on fixing that issue.

It doesn't say how old that is. Shouldn't the registrars be keeping themselves updated with policies?

Actually every registrar mention transfer rate of .ws as NA ...... check there price list!

Problem is Country TLD are not controlled under ICANN regulations.
