I just came across a registrar which offers domain registration at $3.99 only

DomainsAreFree - $3.99 Cheap Domain Name Registration

Only thing is that they accept only credit cards and no Paypal or Google checkout.

Anyways, i hope many would take advantage of this cheap yet incredible offer

many low price domain seller are cheater.... i have scammed by one of them..... they deleted my domains after receive my payment............... be careful

They have weekly discount which make it cheaper,
plus a 24hrs costumers service.

No paypal? Sounds perfect for me since I'm anti-paypal...

I think that we should understand that time by time domain name registrars give good discounts. Today on the domainstate forum I saw the 79%! discount (Eurodns.com) for .mobi (5mobi15 - as far as I remember - something like that) . Some guys I know always use discounts. I personally have no time for that.

Yeah, just be very careful about domain registrars who offer a very low initial price. For example, Yahoo used to offer $1.99 per domain but is upping its prices to $34.95
