    Default Ssl Certificate On Domain

I'm having problems installing the ssl certificate on my domain name.

I have placed my own generated ssl code in the companies setting page.

Then I have uploaded the ssl certificate they gave me via my hosting panel.

And the problem is that I still can't see the ssl certificate displayed on my site.

    Please help me...

I was going to buy the ssl certificate, but I saw they offer a 30 day trial so i decided to try the 30 day trial and as you can see the ssl is not working, because something is wrong.

But the ssl is currently for testing purpose and then it will be implanted to the Snoork Ad Network.

I have contacted my hosting provider about the ssl certificate and they told me I would need to purchase extra resources from their service. So currently, the ssl is not working.

Let me guess, a static IP?

and or the unlocking of SSL services on your account.

Dedicated ip is needed for the ssl certificate, not sure about the activation.

Yes dedicated IP is needed, as is the host giving you permission to have ssl certificates....

Also FYI a basic SSL cert will not secure your subdomains. Plus with the type of site you have I don't honestly see why you'd want SSL.

That is what I was thinking earlier, but he did mention about some kind of ad network he was planning on setting up.

Yeah, the ssl would be for the ad network.

But I had the 14 days trial of ad network and I was trying to install it today and it didn't work.

There was a problem with the magic quotes on the server and the ad network won't be able to install.

I am pretty sure that they can be disabled in htaccess. You should google around.

Tried the .htaccess and php.ini still didn't work.

In the phpinfo.php file it said that the magic quotes are turned off.

But while installing the software, it said that it's enabled and I even contacted the product company.

And they took a look for me what is the problem and they said that the magic quotes is not turned off.

And my hosting provider said that they can't turn of the magic quotes globally, because magic quotes on are teh default settings.

Why not move away from shared hosting seems you seem to be expanding so fast? Get yourself a VPS and make your own rules

I have closed the image hosting site couple of weeks ago, so i have lots of space available now and the bandwidth is not going so fast. So, I'm going to stay with the shared hosting for now.

Snoork Network should be Ssl Certified in about 24-48 hours.

I'm buying the dedicated ip address and the other resources.
