    Default Is .net bad for a forum?

    Would .net be classes a bad tld for a forum? Is it really for hosting companys and such? I found a great .net but not available in .com should I just find a .com or is .net okay?

    .net is great for anything you need. 2nd best extention for web stuff.

    .net is Okay is the domain name is memorable. Even more great if it is brand able?

    Its not BAD, its Just lower to .com but its Good if you have nice Name Go ON, MAke one like DP or WTF..

    This is hard as most people like .com But if its a good name, go for it, just put a lot of emphasis on .NET
    Because people have to remember that also check out what the .com is, as they will prob get some of your traffic
    So no lol its not a good idea, unless you are going to sell it later on.

    .net doesn't matter as long as the domains name is nice. There are many forums and sites which are popular who have .net as their extension.
