Thread: Strange Estibot evaluation

Normally when I aquire a old domain from BST forums I usually have just a quick look to see what Estibot says about the domain. Almost always it just says Reg Fee, even sometimes when the domain does have some traffic.

But I got hold of this domain tilamme.com which Estibot says has no ranking no traffic or anything yet it values this domain at $120 USD No I know this domain is not worth that, but anyone have any ideas why this domain would show so much value in Estibot. I have seen domains with PR valued at less than this in Estibot.

Any Ideas would be most grateful.

There whole evaluation system is flawed. I have no idea what they base there prices on. I see no big value in that name.

I would assume it might have to do with the fact that it has the name "tila" in it, and Tila Tequila is pretty hot in the pop scene right now!

..not only do I use estibot, I use a few other "page evalulators to base a "approximate value"

might be the keyword or maybe the backlinks

Estibot valuation is completely useless, i was some domains which was appraise by estibot and it says it worth $5K and $7 . They were completely new domains, So its worthless you can use it for an idea.

It says Leenkz.Com is worth $16,797, hell if someone came up to me and offered $10G I would not think twice about letting go!!! LOL
