Thread: How much is this domain worth, Please Appraise

I recently registered this domain name, whatisyourpagerank.com can anyone appraise it, evaluate the price.

The name is too long which is not likely to be of much value in the resell market. if you develop it and it becomes popular, that may change.

As of now, I would say registration fees or less.

I like the "long tail keywords" of course "whatismypagerank.com" would be my choice but it is already spoken for!

As the name is only 3 days old and not indexed or backlinked..I have to agree with allout
of course I am not basing my estimation on the human factor..your abitities to SEO or SEM or what might be "reg fee" to me might be more to someone else!

You will really need to develop it before it is worth anything. Whatismyip.com was sold on eBay for a few hundred thousand dollars. But it will be much more difficult to achieve that level of popularity since Google toolbar and pagerank tools are readily available.

The key is to make sure that the script updates when it should. there are too many of these scripts that do not update as often as they should and people end up with false readings. Basically, do not set the site and forget it. Check it often yourself and change the script of that one becomes faulty.

Another suggestions is to add some quality original articles about PR to go along with the script. This will look good for your visitors and Google.

Well, I actually like this name!

I thought of 'whatismyip' when I saw this.

Use a PR script on this (obviously) , and develop.

If you want to sell, I'll buy it for a reasonable price.

i snagged whatisyourpr.com a few days ago

If you develope and advertised your site it will be valuable anyway I think it's not valuable.

As it is, it's worth reg fee max.

The domain does have potential with the phrase but I think you will have to find the right buyer. I would guess anywhere between $50-$90. That is at least how much I would pay for that domain if I were in the market for it.

It will have value only if you make a success site on it ( visitors and revenue ).
Otherwise ( only the domain ) for me has no value, as the best case ... someone will look for:
what is my page rank ( .com )
