I just found out this article. That's not my blog :3072:

Generic TLD's. As much they sound interesting, the price tag is crazy. It'll be allowed only for companies such as godaddy, or something to book them - that's my guess tho.

What are your views on it? I think .com rules even in the upcoming years.

Don't like them myself. Good if you're Google or eBay which vast cash reserves. Even the regular cctlds cost more but tend to be less valuable than dot coms, nets, infos etc.

Yeah I'm not to keen on this. I mean its just another thing to remember. I mean what's gonna happen with say Google? Obviously they will buy .google and google.google sounds silly so what were gonna get i suppose is something like this

adwords.google
adsense.google
blog.google

I say it's an accident waiting to happen.
