    Default change godaddy whois

Hi.I bought a new domain from godaddy.I want to change who is info.Different name country etc.Billing adress and other can be the same.Based on my research just updating registerer info from account settings doesnt work.My questions:

1If ı open a new godaddy account with different who is info (different country) without any purchase and transfer domain does it work?

2Do i need any verification etc?

3Is there other ways to do that.

    Thanks

How long are you waiting for the whois info to update? I don't know if it will be reflected instantly everywhere. If you are checking whois with godaddy it shouldn't take long to update after changing. If you are checking whois elsewhere it may take longer. I have made changes before and never had any problems with it not updating.

I havent changed whois info yet.It is said that they lock domain transfer for 60 days in a change attempt and dont update. So i will try to transfer first.

The lock is currently only required in the very specific case where you change the registrant’s organization name or first/last name. So if you change your email address, address, or phone number, you are not required to opt-in to the 60 day lock. If you create a new godaddy and tranfer the info will stay the same. You should transfer to a different registrar completely like name.com then transfer it back to godaddy.

If i change registrants name and get a lock can i close my account?I am thinking of changing registrants name country etc if godaddy doesnt accept close the locked account buy same domain name elsewhere and transfer.
