Please Appraise this domain

Okay I picked up this domain voxik.com and was just wondering whether you guy and girls could give an appraisal for it. As there are not many 4 letter domains out there left to reg, I'm sure it will not be long before attention is turned to 5 letter .com's

I quite like this domain, it's short and pronounceable, what are your opinions?

Last time I checked, there were no 4 letter .COMs available to register and that was quite some time ago.
The 5 letter .COMs are also getting bought up quickly.

At the current time, I would say undeveloped reg. fees. That may change if people start wanting 5 letter domains. I have three so i am hoping they take off.

I'm kind of annoying with the 3-4-5 letters domain thing. Is a 3 letters more expensive or more valuable then a 5 letters? I'll say yes but is that it?

Plus, today, and today is a keyword here, both empty, without any site hosted, which one will you buy if you had the choice between:

tube.com or youtube.com?
space.com or myspace.com?
face.com or facebook.com?
goo.com or google.com?

So, it's debatable but it annoys me....

It is all in how you market the name. The thought has always been that the shorter the name the more it was worth in value and for SEO. It is all in the eyes of the buyer so since webmasters crave three letter names, they have become quite valuable.

I do not think it has anything to do with the value it brings to the site as it does to the resell value of such a name. Your examples are great points of how marketing is worth more than the the name itself.

I agree the value is reg fee if undeveloped to resellers, especially in current market situation when there are many people dumping good names for cash.
