Thread: Help me choose what to do w/ domain?

Hello. I just picked up the domain name cybergeddon.info . I want to be sure that I can do the best thing I can for this site before I commit to a plan for the domain.

Here are my plans for it:

I am just going to turn it into a Wordpress blog. I think I am going to use "Online Attacks" as the theme. I could either write about cyber warfare, but I am not too passionate about hacking and all that. Instead I am thinking about making it a site all about the internet attacking people through viral videos. Basically just put up videos of people fighting and making asses of themselves.

Anybody have any ideas what to do with cybergeddon.info?

Could someone explain to me what all aspects of .info are bad? I always get .coms, but not this time.

Mind to share why you pick up the domain in the first place?

Because 2 days ago on the front page of Yahoo they had a story all about cyber wars and "cybergeddon". I thought that it was a cool word, and could potentially be a word used often if the right unfortunate incidents would occur. I checked and the .com was taken, but the .info was left. I figure for $2 it was a decent gamble to buy now and think later. That is why I purchased name first. I had an idea of what I wanted to use it for before I purchased, but I just want to be sure that it is what I should do. Basically I just wanted to pick WTFers brains for a possible better vision for the domain.

I sure wouldn't need a better reason to register a domain!

I think your concept is good.

You will only use the domain name for blogging purpose. So .info is suitable

You ideas sound pretty good. The only other thing I could think of is creating a fake "impending war" and see if people hype it up like Y2K.
