Godaddy all the way for professionalism. If you are serious about buying and selling domains, then go godaddy.
But I have heard lots of issues with goDaddy recently, moreover I am feeling good with name.com

Neither, but if it's a choice between the 2, Name.com.
When buying a domain at GoDaddy a while back it seemed that you had to click through 50,000 pages just to get to the end. Do you want this with you domain, do you want that with your domain. No, I just want to buy a freaking domain!![]()
I don't like neither. I prefer NameCheap.com.
i prefer name.com because of speed and easiness of use..
See, as I said.. Name.com is the best!![]()

I am using Godaddy since 2 years and I am happy with it. I am new to Name.com (registered 2 .in domains a week before because they are running a good offer)
yes, but be cautious, they are just first year prices.

Godaddy has excellent customer service. One of the best ever.
Based on experience
GoDaddy has served me well.
It's the best domain name register out there.
Plus they've got really good support team.

on top of that GoDaddy offers many different services to help make your web site a success. aside from selling domain names, it even has an auction that sells some potentially valuable web site domain names to the highest bidder.

I used to use onlinenic.com, for buying bulk names.
The service was up and down (server issues often), I also learned that they are no longer ICANN accredited. Once I found that out, I switched all my domains over to godaddy. If you can find a coupon for godaddy, and don't mind all the other extra items they try and sell you it is OK.
I use GoDaddy almost exclusively for my domains based on previous good service and customer support.
I use godaddy, name, and namecheap. I guess it all depends on what deal I find when I'm looking to register a domain![]()

TBH
Godaddy only for it's coupon and cheap offers even on renewal.
Other than that name.com is better.
godaddy![]()
I'm a poor college student so I go for godaddy. There's always a good coupon to use. They've been very good. I've been screwed in the past by smaller registrars who folded and took my domain with them.
GoDaddy go =)
Godaddy is best for domain names.Their provide a lot of features just for domain names.Even their also provide very cheap domain names.
But now name.com is also good for domains. They also provides the features like godaddy.

there is no option for both, but i found name good, but with coupon godaddy was ok,
Well now I am using namecheap.com for my all domains

I"ve used both and don't really have a preference...I go with whomever has the biggest discount :P
I don't like godaddy ,I prefer NameCheap.com only
My vote goes to Name.com because of their free privacy protect service with every domain. I hate GoDaddy for their stupid tactics to sell you more.
Godaddy, was the first i used, has good prices, many promotions.
Theirs no problems with godaddys domains i think godaddy
I would go for go daddy.
I definitely go for name.com!
I find Godaddy "too flashy", like a woman wearing too much make-up.
(But that's just me).

I rather use name.com, my fav. is namecheap.com - godaddy is to messy and cluttered.
Been using godaddy and no problems so far so i would recommend godaddy.
I prefer GoDaddy rather then Name.com
Godaddy is good for registrations. Professional and great support.

I'm using both of them. I don't know why but I prefer name.com for it simplicity. I think that all the options in godaddy you will find them in name.com. Anyway this is my opinion, I should choose name.com!

I love Godaddy ! And I am Godaddy Fans. Godaddy number one !
godaddy is the best for any domain service
Why are you comparing godaddy.com to name.com? Godaddy has ads on tv!!! name.com is poor!!! so quality is always best!
name.com is cheaper and has free whois protection. Their domain management interface also is not that bad. So I would go with Name.com
IMO, large companies tend to pay less attention to customer needs (they become greedy) small companies are willing to work with their customers to ensure satisfactions. Both companies provide the same products at different price tiers, and they bundle add-ons with their products.
If price is an issue then the answer is to go with the cheapest, otherwise look at the service/support offered by each company. I own a domain registration company myself; with that being said I would give both good rating.
1) name.com (if its is price based)
2) both are good
Good Luck
I don't recommend GoDaddy at all
Name.com gets my vote
(it's the small brother of domainsite.com, they both belong to the same company)
Name.com. Free whois protection is very handy

I work with GoDady for 2 years. They are a little bit slow, but ok.
