Thread: .com vs. .info as far as value and worth?

is .com worth more than .info ?
about a year ago i bought a few .com domain names on 1and1 and upon checkout it gave me the option of adding the .info domain names for $.99 for a year so i did and i have had them for just under 1 year and they are all just parked and not being used,so i just checked the value and all .coms were valued at $50 and .infos were valued at $51!

Who is doing the valuing?
They are only worth as much as someone is prepared to pay you so...

The .com suffix will always be worth more than .info with the odd exception. The bad press that .info names had recently did not do potential valuations any favours either.

it was a pagerank/alexa rank and backlinks check website cant remember web address at the moment
