I have registered one domain last week. I have no plans to publish or host any site in next 2/3 monts. I have heard that I can make some money from my domain name by parking it. But I have no idea about it.
Need some guides here.
Thanks.

yes, you earn money from domain parking.
You have to point the domain to their page. They will give u the dns.
Every click on the links of parked page will give u money.
Sedo is a good one.

We used to use Sedo, it was ok, but the ads weren't always that relevant and the payout with not great. We now moved to godaddy and make alot more per month, but they do charge you for the service. For us (we own over 500 domain names) the fee gets paid for in the advertising and we still make a profit. Something to consider
Has to be a domain people are actually going to ge to. Is it a domain name that people are likely to type into their browser and go to it directly?
If not and it's not listed anywhere on the web, the chance of making any money off of parking the domain is next to nothing.

Good point grim.

I wonder what domain parking company are good at there service Based on above post it seems godaddy is better than sedo? Can anyone vouch for godaddy's domain parking service?
I have used Sedo, Afternic and Godaddy. Honestly I really never gave Afternic a real shot, Sedo, IMHO, stinks and I have been reasonably happy with Godaddy's service, even though you have to pay for it.
Like grim said parking services are only good for names that people will type in. You have to pay for godaddy, but if you are confident that your domain name will get type ins go for it....with all parking serivices the amount per click is NOT a whole lot. I wish you the best of luck!
Well that's a nice input. Thanks
