Anyway, the day before the recall of all meat from all stores and before I even heard about this, I purchased two packs of Maple Leaf bacon at Wal-Mart. I already ate some and figured I'm fine as I'm not ill or anything.

Then I realized I should take this more seriously, and now read it can take 2-30 days for symptoms to even appear.

I am trying to find the code for the factory so I can tell if my Bacon is from there, I don't want to trash perfectly good bacon but this is a serious situation as people have died and more and more are getting sick.

If you come across any information about what to search for on my packaging to discover if it's from the infected plant, please let me know.

In the meantime, my search continues, and if I do find out it is from that plant, I guess I'll be freaked out for a month. :(

As promised last week, today sees the scheduled release of a maintenance version for vBulletin 3.7.x.

vBulletin 3.7.3 contains a number of bug fixes, details of which can be found in the bug tracker. Additionally, a change has been made to prevent users from setting their password to their username. See below for more information.

The security fixes included in vBulletin the 3.7.2 PL releases are also included in vBulletin 3.7.3.

Username=Password Disallowed

In this release, users will no longer be allowed to set their username and passwords to the same value. Users who already have a password that is the same as their username will be forced to change their password on their next login. Additionally, a tool has be added to the Admin Control Panel to email affected users with a new password. Please be aware of these potential compatibility changes when upgrading.

Upgrading from Previous Versions

3.7.3 is a maintenance release. We recommend that all customers running prior versions of vBulletin 3.7 upgrade to benefit from bug fixes and stability improvements.

PHP and MySQL Requirements

Please note that vBulletin 3.7.x requires at least PHP 4.3.3 and MySQL 4.0.16 or later.

My trip to New York/Canada

I went to Buffalo, New York, then to Niagra Falls, then to Toronto, then to new york shitty.

The falls were neat, not as big as I expected though.

Why Buffalo? Because that is the home of the ORIGINAL buffalo/chicken wing. And I gotta say...it was easily the best wing I've had in my life. The medium/hot didn't really have much flavor at all, but their suicide was so delicious. Not the hottest wing I've had, but definitely the best.

At the falls you can take a boat called Maid of the Mist and get a closer view of the falls. The problem is down there it is so misty you really can't see the falls.

I wanted to test my swimming ability, but a good Samaritan stopped me.

If you are a smoker at the falls, make sure you stop by the butt depot.

After that I waited for sunsent on Lake Erie.

Then in Toronto I went to CN Tower, the tallest building in North America. Which is a pretty crappy claim because as a building it only has 3 floors. Cheaters.

But inside I made a new friend.

While in Toronto I stopped at the Condom Shack. Driving in Toronto totally sucks. You have a 4 lane street with cars parked on the sides sometimes so you have to swerve lanes to avoid them, then there is also cable cars you have to stay away from. Everyone honks and no one signals. One way streets. It is crazy. I checked out the Eden Center which is like 3 malls combined. Then I ate at Milestones, it was good. I originally was going to eat at Hard Rock so I could get a Hard Rock Toronto glass, but the line was 2 hours long.

After that came New York.

If you don't have a guide, a map, or a clue where things are, stay away. I walked for about 5 hours and didn't find a single pizza place that was open. I couldn't believe it. And the World Trade Center is just a bunch of cranes and construction equipment, nothing to get emotional over. no monuments or anything. And everyone is rude, but I guess that's just how New Yorkers are.

I did meet one nice lady though.
