You may now exclude forums from the "New Posts" search.

Go to Edit Options, scroll down, select the forums you want to exclude and then save changes.

I don't not want to repeat this a million times, so it's been noted at the section mentioned above and will be mentioned here.

"This DOES NOT affect the "Unread Posts" feature above your private messages as that is using a separate plugin."

So, don't use the "Unread Posts" link if you expect the forums you've excluded to not show up, use the "New Posts" link.

How come the ad forums aren't included in that? I tried to block Free with Registration - Webmaster Forum and noticed no ad forums there

All those forums can be excluded.

Autumn, I looked more into it, for some reason the settings reset themselves, probably from the upgrade, I will have to readd all those forums manually so people can exclude them.

I don't open them even. For one, they all seem to be US only and for two, I get enough spam as it is without signing up for stuff. :eek:

Another handy feature would be the exclusion of seeing certain members as the last poster in the new posts view :evil:
