Thread: Casino Cash Marketplace?

Hey, was thinking of this about a week ago but forgot to post about it but now i remembered the idea again.

What about getting a Casino Cash marketplace? Like where people can sell posts for casino cash or buy posts for casino cash and usual stuff? Basicly something similar to namepros NP$ part but with a WTF style

It will surely rise the value of the casino cash as well

Well like incentives, where people can pay people for posting on their forums and stuff like that. Link buying and so much more would be possible with that Ooooh my 666 post, the devil milestone :P

Some one posts that they will give you xxx of their casino cash in exchange for posting x number of times in their forum.

Or xxx of their casino cash for signing up for their free program, etc.

I see no need of this from my end.

But sure a few members here who always want casino cash would jump into this one.

Yea that's what i mean But the possibilitys is endless when it comes to things you could sell/buy with the casino cash Could get quite popular, i would surely use the marketplace

So it would an online casino? What payment method would you accept then? cash, checks, credit card. Need more info.

really that is a very good idea like at namepros people use NP$ to buy domains and other stuff from people that accept it why limit casino cash? so much can be done with it

wiki made a good point, you can already do this (though it would be a neat feature if it went more indepth)...

ability to buy new usertitles, bold user names, etc etc...

I guess a section in the marketplace for this might be considered, it does seem like a good idea for those interested in such a thing and I think there's enough interest.

I was part of a forum once where you could use your 'cash' to make one of your threads sticky for a week. That was an IPB forum, but I bet vB has something similar.

i know vb used to have a huge mod for that, you could sticky, edit, post, etc (any posting feature) could be set to free or paid, and set the price. As well as making it possible to pay for the arcade, win money from the arcade, buy people little images for their postbits, change your username, color, bold, underline, etc...even change other peoples stuff ... that was fun on some forums, lol...

i know the original mod ended up having a security flaw, and the author disappeared...last i heard another one was being worked on...but not sure on the status of it as I haven't had a live forum for a bit now...

was a neat little mod though

If implemented and a fair number of users begin to use it as a currency here on WTF then the mods and admin must not continue to give casino cash away like candy

It would dilute the value of the casino cash as a currency here and be unfair to those not getting those 'kickbacks'.

BTW - thanks for the free 100,000. It took me a few days to figure out where it came from till i saw the 100,000 posts thread.

That's a very good and valid point. You are right.

though it might be neat to have contests and stuff that would encourage user participation, and a bit of casino cash could be given as prizes
