Bump, rebooted all of my servers a little bit ago. WTF included

No wonder why I got a name server failure earlier. :eek: Glad to see WTF back up and running.

Good to see it's running faster.

I don't see why it would be running faster as it wasn't that long ago since the last reboot.

At least, I try to reboot most servers weekly.

A minute or two downtime is a small price to pay for increased performance

Plus some times there are little quirks going on that I didn't notice, reboot fixed them much of the time.

What will happen after WTF gets popular like DP ? Will the support handle heavy graphics and user crowds at the same time ?

As it is the server can handle much more than it does now. If we get more popular we can and will simply upgrade servers to what is needed.

I actually might be getting rid of this server. I am currently reworking my servers, getting rid of my dual 2.8 xeon and upgrading my oldest P4 3.0 HT

Going to be testing out the new dual cores and possibly the quad cores. Depending on how they perform, this server might also be on the block to be axed.

If only DP had the same out look as you. Their servers are terrible.

Does DP have a server problem or a bandwidth issue?

I think DP is because is has too much information on it, server can't handle the pressure.

Server was rebooted. Been having some problems with the data center on this server as of late, continuing to watch it.

Is that why it keeps doing a DP and crawling to a halt? or is that just my Pentium II playing up

Thanks GRIM, WTF should be running more smoothly now

I do Tech support for a well known company during the days, and it's amazing how many times rebooting fixes the problem

Been awhile since I rebooted, going to do in a few minutes
