Thread: Notification Link Not Working

Hi admin,

Whenever I receive a new PM or Public Message on the top right side it shows

Notifications (1) ...

but when I click on it nothing happens

then I go to user CP and there it shows the link to new PM or Public message.

Can anyone else check it if they are also not seeing the Notification link working?

Yes, it used to drop a menu but nothing happens for the past few days.

Have you changed browser?

right now I don't have any PM waiting to be read.

I will then check it on IE too.

Yes, I received your PM but same problem happening in IE too.

Why dont you try in FF? Maybe Java script has been disabled..

I always use FF, but it is not working for the past few days.

Did you add any security type software or change any settings as nothing has changed on my end or others from what I know.

Nope, I didn't do anything that may disturb this thing.

That notification thing is working fine on other forums, but here it doesn't work.

Not sure if this might take any effect, but try clearing your internet cache and files.

I am posting this message from my laptop, I just received a PM from someone and tried to see if that notification link is working on laptop or not, but its not working on laptop as well.

You were using the 'vbulletin' skin, I switched it to the theme designed for the forum.
