We have a New Skin!

Hey WTF,

Just wanted to post really quickly about our new skin were sporting now. Its made by my friends over at ForumSkin.Com , they have made several skins for me in the past and have never let me down.

I also took the time to upgrade the forum to 4.1.7 (latest VB version) . I want to get suggestions and feedback from the active members on WTF on the new skin and changes the staff and I will be installing in a few weeks. If you find any bugs or issues, please post it here and ill fix it asap.

I love it. Design is nice but not heavy. It's using all the space available. The new logo is great but the smiley face needs an upgrade. The smiley face is not that charming. it looks bit down. gray may not be the best color.

Its coming along nicely and I love it as well. We have a few bugs Ive found and well be adding more features soon. First were going to go with a restructure of the forums and a good clean up.

Ill take the logo changes into consideration. I see what you mean and well have to brighten his day lol

Looks great to me I must say!

Appears that your friends at forumskin.com know what they are doing....I look forward to seeing all of the other changes being made to WTF as they develop.

As far as the logo is concerned, grey just happens to be my favorite color...so I think it he looks fine the way he is!

I think the new forum skin looks great. Very clean and professional. The only thing I would change is remove the tag cloud or at least prune it. Still lots of spam words in there at this moment.

I'll admit that I wasn't keen at first. I'm old before my time and scared of change!

After a week of using it I've started to like it. Whether it's better than the old theme, that's debatable in my opinion; but nevertheless, it's a nice theme.

I also fear change but we needed it. The old theme was broken and not custom like this one. I plan to fix a lot of the CSS bugs we have. Well have new plugins and features this week. Just need to get to the office

Very clean design and I like it a lot better than the previous skin.. my only "complaint" might be that it is a bit "too white", but I can live with that

Whilst I appreciate your intentions of improving the forums I have to be honest and say it is one of the worst vBulletin skins I have ever seen in my life. I feel that the skin is too bright, there is no contrast between the colors (because there is no color) and the yellow/orange forum stat counters do not display properly in FF8.

Whilst less is defiantly more, in this case it is defiantly less.

No offense is intended but I have to say ForumSkin could have done a lot better.

-- Also, Is there any way I can change to the previous one? as this one really hurts my eyes and I can't see myself sticking around for much longer if I can't change it.
