Thread: Why my signature is not showing???

I have been read all FAQs and there is written if we make 10 posts then signature option will be appear in cpanel but still i can't see any signature option there, why???

Sorry about the confusion, our recent rules update has set the new post requirement for signatures at 50 posts. Sorry the FAQ did not reflect this, I have edited it to do so.

this is big webmaster forum and i think you should update it with all your decisions which you take suddenly lol

Please keep in mind that once you reach the 50 required posts, the system will have to wait until it updates itself to verify that you indeed reached the 50 posts, then you should be able to create your signature then.

Please allow time for the system to recognize that you reached the 50 posts limit, in order to then be able to create a signature with live links.

When I started 3 years ago the minimum post before you can set up your signature was 50 post. I think, it was implemented to avoid spam.

Now, that this forum is under new management of course the owner have all the right for some changes and set new rules for the good of this forum.

Now I was not around 3 years ago, but when I first became a member back in 2010, it was only 10 post required. I guess the previous management lowered it to 10, at some point before I became a member, for what reason I am not certain.

But indeed you are correct, it was reestablished to now being 50 posts required, in order to cut down on spam and weed out post padders.

Along with upping the post requirement, changing the rules, and Blade hiring new staff members to enforce those rules, there will be lots less spam infesting the forum, I can assure you of that.

Okhay webmaster but why do you suddenly raise it to 10 to 50. You must increase it slowly.

Clearly, they raised it from 10 to 50 to combat the level of spam the forum attains. Anyone can make ten quality posts in a timely manner; 50 posts would take a bit of time.

I personally did not raise it from 10 to 50, the administrator did, I am only a moderator here on the forum; as such I am obligated to enforce the rules...I do not own the forum!

As the forum changed ownership, new rules were implemented along with the change....any forum owner has the right to change the rules as they see fit.

As btk95 mentioned, the minimum required posts to obtain a signature was raised from 10 to 50 in order to weed out the spam...this measure if very effective in preventing spam, and that is why it was implemented.

Any webmaster should now how spam is a constant nuisance which must be dealt with!

Thanks for clearing this up for us.

But i can not find signature section to put my signature
I have posted 52 posts

i have 54 posts but when i clicked on the link in the above post it said i didn't have enough posts to have a signature. what's up?

I also have more then 50 posts, but I still cant add signature, whats the problem?
