Thread: New Ownership of WTF

Hey WTF,

First off let me start by introducing myself, My name is Steve and have been doing the Internet thing for about 8 years now. I first started with on line communities and quickly fell in love with being a web master.

WTF has always been a community I wanted to help grow. I'm confident that together we can all contribute great information to the community and make it a better place to visit.

I'll be looking to make some changes around the forum. Please feel free to give me your suggestions or feedback on anything you see that can improve WTF. I wanted to get us a new custom theme made so we can start on the right foot.

Another new owner? What happened with Blade? He only lasted 3 months. :S

I recently purchased the forum from Blade. I don't want to speak for him but I'm sure he'll be around as well as being a good supporter of the community.

I hope Steve is here to stay, he seems very nice and cares about the community...

As for the previous owner Blade, I must give him kudos and props, if that wasn't the quickest website flipping I have seen, I don't know what is, lol

I am here to stay and I have good positive plans for this great community.

I have both the time and resources to invest into WTF and my plans are getting stronger by the day now.

I'm sure well have this place going soon and it's good to see you Colleen. The forum misses you a lot

Sorry for not notifying everyone, but I have had some serious unpredicted real life complications which mean that my time online is severely limited. The only time that I can spend online is mainly spent maintaining my advertising campaigns that are paying my bills. I felt rather then seeing WTF neglected again, it was best to pass the forum to someone who could truly give it the attention it needs.

Once again sorry for what looks to be a short ownership period but I do wish Steve the best of luck and hope you can really get WTF going again.

I kind of miss the old theme. Though, it's a new beginning, so a new theme wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

wow wow.. never knew that .. so many changes going here at WTF.. but some members are still rocking here.. keep it up guys..

I hadn't realized the long history of this forum. I can't wait to watch it grow!

Don't get your hopes up too much.

The site is moving a long now and the changes are coming. Sorry it took longer than expected but were on our way with more changes soon.

Like I said, you did a great job here and congratulations to Aaron! =)

I've been a member of WTF community for 3 years now! BUT not as active as I wanted to... *sorry*

I am managing a web design/development team and work as a Project Manager. And working with few SEO tasks sometimes! LOL. Busy bee!!!

Anyway, hope to meet new webmasters in here and hope to help the community in any way I could.
