Thread: If you don't want infractions, please read...

In an effort to reinforce our rules and keep a peaceful community here at WTF, we've decided to take swift action on the following.

Racist Comments
When you registered with Web Talk Forums, you agreed to our rules, within those rules is this statement.

"By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws."

Additionally, in our rules thread, found here: Web Talk Forums Rules, you'll find rule #2 states as follows:

"Behavior which reflects negatively upon the community will not be tolerated, this includes personal attacks, flaming, trolling, harassment, racism, etc. You will be warned, given an infraction and possibly banned depending on the offence."

The staff has recently encountered racist remarks, these will now be handled by the staff immediately by way of an infraction and possible ban if the attacks continue.

If you receive the "Racist Comments" infraction you will receive 5 points which will expire in 6 months. This is an infraction which will extend any infractions you already have, so it cannot be served concurrently, it will be added onto any current infractions you have, therefore extending it.

Making Members Feel Unwelcome
This is another new infraction you can get here at Web Talk Forums. We pride ourselves in helping anyone and everyone to the best of our ability, members who talk down to and/or belittle WTF members are in effect diminishing our efforts and this will no longer be tolerated.

This infraction is also 5 points for 6 months but it can be served concurrently with any existing infractions you might have.

I'd just like to add as well, if you do get an infraction, please realise it's not the end of the world. We are not out to get you.
