Your opinion about this domain

I am making my own website where I can show my complete portfolio and full information about me.

I will show all my sites I have designed for clients, the sites I am running and everything. It will be my complete profile.

I have purchased this domain for my site DecentProfile.com

What do you think about this name? do you think it is good?

No, I don't like my name as website name.

My name is Jahangir, if I make Jahangir.com then local people will understand that it is someone's profile whose name is Jahangir but people from English countries will not understand what Jahangir means? but they will understand DecentProfile.com easily. Getting my point?

Some people on other forums are against the word Decent because decent means something is not "Professional" but not "worst" too, it is in between.

They are suggesting me to use some other name like Elegant, Professional... etc instead of decent.

Do you have any comment on this?

Yes.

Who said the that? Here, if someone says to me the movie was decent, I would look at thinking it was not bad. If they would say the food was decent I would view it the same way.

If you put it on a scale like this to me.

10 Great

6.7 Decent

1 Bad

Meaning better then average. Still worth your money.

DecentProfile is ok but usually people do prefer easier domain name to remember so it wont be hard for them to search it.

How about DigitalArtByJahangir.Com or JahangirDigitalDesigns.Com

I really think, that if you are making a site to showcase all your artistic work, you should have your name on the domain.

You are an artist, and you need to start getting your name out there, so people can start recognizing Jahangir the Artist!

OK, after so much thinking for a good domain name I have decided and purchased this domain

DezineFolio.com

It has both words Dezine & Folio, dezine expressing "Designing" and Folio expressing "Portfolio".

How is this name?

I like DezineFolio.com the best. JahangirTheArtist.com is more personalized as well as descriptive at the same time, but a bit longer.

You could of course always change your name to a funny symbol and use TheArtistFormerlyKnownAsJahangir.com
