Because otherwise our brain will refuse to work after some time. That's from the psychological point of view but in general, it depends on the changing of day and time.


It is so the body can recharge the batteries. When a man wakes up in the morning, testosterone levels are high. They gradually fall during the day until stocks are exhausted. During sleep, the body produces more testosterone. This is just one example of what the body does during sleeping hours.
More interesting yet is the amount of sleep different people require, I heard that Einstein only slept 2 to 3 hours a day. I wonder if intelligent people require less sleep?? hummmmm
Well, we sleep because we need to sleeep and our body and our brain need to relax,otherwise we can't live properly.
In scientific way when our brain needs to rebuilt all the damage of whole day working its just make us sleep and this is proved that we can live without food for 7 days but not without sleep.
i can sleep to relax my mind and body..
it is same as we do we eat?

We need to sleep in order to rest our mind and body and more important to start a new day.
rest or sleeping is must be a healthy life.
sleep is the necessary thing for life if i can't sleep well then we lose our health and our lose our fitness
Because without rest you can't do anything properly.
We Sleep because we don't like to be in reality all the time. We like to dream.
We sleep to give rest to our body
We should sleep because our whole body will relax !
I sleep for my mental and physical desire, a fresh sleep give me mental peace and it keep my brain free from tension.
our body needs rest as simple as that.
To relax our mind and body from the stress and we can't work for whole time in such a tired way.
